about the exhibition
Envisions is a Dutch collective that showcases everything but the end product. The collection of work aims to offer new insights to different phases that would normally never be seen by the public’s eye. By revealing the steps of the extensive research process that precedes a design’s final outcome, the collection breathes life into initial concepts and pushes them towards reality.
“At the same time, it opens the exhibitor itself to the public, creating a vulnerable and open interaction between creator and the public. Rather than it being one way, this is meant to create an open dialogue between the maker and clients — so they can become collaborators and result in new joint ventures.” by Design Milk
