about the project
This september envisionaires Sanne Schuurman and Robin Pleun Maas mentored the first year students of Wilson School of Design to work on a project the movement of high-performance textiles. By investigating movement and flow, in material and shape, the students created 10 moving installations that made the textiles come to life. The results produced a prominent display at IDS (Interior Design Show) Vancouver, curated by Emma Wessel and Jeroen van de Gruiter. This has been a wonderful experience, so we want to thank the Consulate General of The Netherlands, the Vancouver Interior Design Show and of course the students of Wilson School of Design!
